Caden and Anna first met freshman year of high school at Prairie Life, now known as Genesis Health Clubs. 

They became fast friends and continued to work together throughout all 4 years of highschool. 

On their last day of work, Caden asked Anna to join him for lunch later that week and clarified it was NOT a date. After years of knowing each other, it did not take long before "Not a date" became a committed relationship. 

That fall Caden went off to K-state and Anna started her classes at Benedictine. For 3 and 1/2 years they looked forward to summers, breaks, and weekend visits. Caden became Annas biggest cheerleader and tried his best to make it to all her football games and competitions. Anna spent any spare time she had talking to or going to see her beloved Caden. 

Both Caden and Anna graduated a semester early from college and moved back towards home to start their lives. 

Caden proposed to Anna at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art on May 24, 2025. There was no hesitation as Anna said yes and they began writing this new chapter.
